Alvaro Pereyra

Alvaro Pereyra is a senior executive with more than 15 years of experience leading FINRA-regulated broker-dealers and fintech companies through launch, growth, and operational scaling.

As CEO of CXG, he focuses on guiding broker-dealers through regulatory approval processes and driving firms toward sustainable revenue generation. His expertise centers on the launch and growth phases of the broker-dealer lifecycle, including operational build-out, compliance alignment, and capital markets strategy.

Prior to joining CXG, Mr. Pereyra led multiple broker-dealers to profitability across both startup and mid-sized environments. He also developed and managed fintech platforms, serving as CEO of firms such as Passfolio Securities and Vestfi Inc., where he helped expand access to U.S. financial markets for international investors.

His experience includes consolidating broker-dealers, expanding cross-border investment access, developing app-based trading platforms, and managing full-service broker-dealers within institutional settings.

Mr. Pereyra holds a master’s degree in Finance and Macroeconomics from Harvard University and maintains FINRA licenses including Series 7, 24, 99, and 66.
